Suddenly there was the quiet report of an air-pistol, and a tiny red hole appeared on Rose's left breast. She stiffened for a moment and grunted, her body lolling backward and going utterly limp as her eyelids fluttered to a half-closed position. She lay tits up on the mattress, slack lips parted to reveal her white teeth -- dead!
The blonde girl entered, holstered her weapon, and smiled as she checked Rose's inert body for signs of life.
